Both the boys and girls teams opened with wins at the Topeka Tournament. The boys defeated Hope 37-25 in their first game and the girls also defeated Hope in double overtime. Next up will be the boys playing tomorrow morning at 8:00 against Christ Lutheran. The girls will play at 9:00 against a team to be decided

The boys basketball team finished the tournament with two close overtime losses to Collegiate to finish second in the tournament. The first game was a one point loss in the overtime. That meant a second game needed to be played. The boys jumped out to an early 14-4 lead but Collegiate fought and it was nip and tuck the second half before falling again this time by three in the overtime frame.
Next up will be the Topeka tournament. The boys will play Hope out of Kansas City at 11:00. The girls will also play Hope at noon

The boys team continued through their post season undefeated with a come from behind win over Collegiate on Saturday. They will next play Tuesday night at 5:30 against St. Anne the other remaining undefeated team in the tournament. The championship game will be Thursday at 6:00. All games are at Holy Cross.\
The Topeka Lutheran School basketball tournament will be held this weekend at Topeka Lutheran School. The boys will play at 11:00 on Friday followed by the girls at noon. Both team will play Hope Lutheran out of Kansas City. Game pictures and updates on results and upcoming games will be posted here.

Post season tournaments continue this upcoming week. The 7-8 grade girls lost their first round game to Christ the King and will open the week up with a second round game Monday at 6:30 against Holy Savior. If they win that game they will play again Tuesday at 7:30 versus St. Patrick.
The sixth grade girls will play for the championship of their tournament on Wednesday at 5:30. On Saturday they lost to Blessed Sacrament but then defeated St. Anne to gain a spot in the finals They will play Blessed Sacrament and will need to beat them twice to claim the title. If the second game is needed it will be at 7:00.
The boys beat St. Margaret Mary and will play St. Thomas–Royal Wednesday at 7:30. A win would have them playing Saturday at noon. A loss would lead to a 9:00 game on Saturday

The post season basketball tournament season began last night with the sixth grade girls winning a hard fought battle against St. Francis 15-14 in overtime. They will next play Blessed Sacrament Saturday morning at 9:00. The boys will begin their tourney Saturday with a game at new. the 7-8 grade girls will start theirs Saturday afternoon with a 2:00 game versus Holy Savior.
