The girl’s volleyball teams were all in action Saturday with each team having two matches. The Sixth Graders were at Collegiate for two morning games. They dropped a hard fought three game match to St. Joseph but rebounded with a two game victory over St. Thomas. The Seventh Grade team also went one and one in its matches. They lost their first match in three to St. Thomas but also came back with a strong victory over St. Jude. The Eighth Grade team lost two matches in games at St. Mary in Derby. The first match was a close one against St. Francis and the second was a loss to Collegiate. Thanks to all who helped work the matches we had Saturday at Holy Cross for the 7th grade games. It was a long day and I appreciate all who helped. We will host eighth grade games this Saturday starting at 8:30. See link if you are able to help out.
